This page explains what information Pose Library collects, how we use it, when it is shared, and what choices you have.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Pose Library, we may collect:

• Account information such as your email address and sign-in details.
• Profile information such as your username, display name, and any profile details you add.
• Subscription or entitlement information such as your plan status, renewal state, and related billing identifiers.
• Marketing preferences, including whether you opted in to email updates.
• Messages you send through our contact, bug report, feedback, or model inquiry forms.
• Affiliate waitlist or application information such as your website, social profile, audience type, audience size, and related notes you submit.
• Educator application or student-access information such as school, program, course, estimated student count, instructor profile, eligibility details, and related notes you submit.
• Usage and analytics data such as session identifiers, pages or features used, language, and device-level consent status.
• Local device data stored in cookies or local storage for site functionality, preferences, and analytics consent.

How we use information

We use information to operate Pose Library, authenticate accounts, provide subscription access, respond to messages, improve the site, understand how features are used, manage email opt-ins, process Studio access and billing-related workflows, maintain security, and prevent abuse.

Analytics

We use analytics tools to understand how Pose Library is used and to improve the experience. Our analytics setup is intended to measure site activity rather than to sell your information. Analytics collection is gated by your cookie choice where required by our implementation.

Cookies and local storage

Pose Library uses cookies and similar technologies, including browser local storage, for analytics, sign-in state, and product preferences. For example, we may store your analytics consent choice, age confirmation flag, content filter preferences, and certain in-app settings on your device.

You can accept or decline analytics cookies through our banner or settings controls. You can also clear cookies or local storage through your browser settings, although some site features may stop working as expected.

Local tab and local files

Studio includes a Local tab that lets you temporarily load your own reference images from your device and run them through the Pose Library pose viewer with the pose timer.

Files loaded through the Local tab are handled in your current browser session only. Pose Library does not upload those files to our servers, does not store the raw image files in our backend, and does not add them to the Pose Library image library.

If you leave the page, close the tab, or refresh the browser, those loaded files are cleared from the active session. This Local tab behavior is separate from cookies, analytics data, sign-in state, or saved product preferences that may still be stored on your device for other parts of the service.

Payments and subscriptions

Payments are handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers. We may store limited subscription-related information, such as plan status, renewal or cancellation state, billing country, and processor customer or subscription identifiers, to manage access to paid features.

If you start a paid Studio checkout or manage billing, the payment provider may collect and process information such as your email address, payment method details, billing country, tax information, and transaction records according to that provider's own policies and procedures.

Email marketing

If you opt in, we may send you product updates, announcements, or release emails. We use a third-party email platform for list management and delivery. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.

Forms, support, and model inquiries

If you contact us or submit a form, we collect the information you provide so we can respond and manage the request. This may include your name, email address, message contents, and any other details you choose to include.

Model inquiry submissions may include information about portfolio links, availability, and comfort level with different types of shoots. Please do not send information you do not want us to keep for evaluating and responding to your inquiry.

Affiliate waitlist or affiliate program submissions may include your website, social profile, audience type, audience size, and message details. We use this information to evaluate interest in the program, review potential partners, communicate about the affiliate program, and notify you when applications or related updates become available.

Educator access applications may include information such as your school, organization, program, course, website or portfolio, estimated student count, and related eligibility details. We use this information to review educator access requests, manage temporary student access, communicate about approvals, and support education-related access administration.

Directory recommendation messages may include organizer names, studio or community names, website links, location details, schedule information, pricing notes, and any comments you provide about why a listing should be included. We use this information to review, curate, and manage directory listings.

Third-party services

We use service providers to operate parts of Pose Library. These may include:

• Supabase for authentication, database, and backend functions.
• Google Analytics, PostHog, and Microsoft Clarity for analytics, product usage measurement, heatmaps, and session replay.
• Stripe for payments and subscription processing.
• Mailchimp for email marketing opt-ins and newsletter delivery.
• Cloudflare Turnstile for CAPTCHA, bot detection, and abuse prevention.
• Netlify and related hosting or form-processing tools for site hosting and form submissions.

These providers process information on our behalf or as part of the services you choose to use.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, run the business, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and whether the data is needed for account, security, support, analytics, or billing purposes.

If you create an account but do not verify your email address, we may send a reminder email after about 7 days. We may also review unverified accounts later as part of account cleanup and abuse prevention.

Account deletion and your choices

You can manage certain account information inside the product and you can request account deletion. When an account is deleted, associated records may be removed or de-identified, although some data may remain in backups, logs, or third-party systems for a limited period.

Reviewing or deleting an unverified account does not necessarily remove a separate email marketing record if you opted in to updates. Marketing preferences and newsletter records are managed separately and can be changed using unsubscribe links or by contacting us.

You may also opt out of marketing emails and change your analytics cookie choice on your device.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. We may use security tools such as CAPTCHA, bot detection, rate limits, and leaked or weak password checks to protect accounts and prevent abuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Age requirements

Pose Library is intended for adults and is not directed toward children under 18 years of age. Because some reference material may include artistic nudity, users must be at least 18 years old to access certain areas of the platform.

If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and address the situation appropriately.

Image sourcing and AI

We do not use AI to create or modify our images. Our pose reference images are created through our own photography process, and models are sourced and compensated for their work.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the date above.
